The SA-SE Lab looks forward to working with prospective graduate students and post-doctoral researchers. To discuss your research interests and potential projects, please email Dr. Sahoo and continue to watch for announcements from the SA-SE Lab.
Currently, the lab is seeking a Ph.D. student in the Agricultural Sciences Department at Clemson University in a 3-year funded project to develop an integrated computational system that leverages urban forestry to address stormwater management, urban climate challenges, and public health.
The lab is also seeking a fully funded M.S. student for a 2-year project focused on low-tech stream restoration techniques to improve degraded streams in two U.S. states.
Graduate students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. focused on using native mussels as an ecological engineering tool to mitigate pathogenic bacteria in urban streams and ponds impacted by stormwater in South Carolina are encouraged to contact Dr. Sahoo.
